Train Garden Returns To Marley Station Mall, Fundraises For Church Food Pantry
GLEN BURNIE, MD - The Marley Station Mall train garden reopened last Saturday. It will be open periodically until Jan. 7, 2024.
Entrance is free. Donations will be collected for the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Food Pantry and Emergency Fund.
This year's new features include a Santa train storyland, an American Flyer, a renovated speedway and Jurassic Park. Attendees can follow a scavenger hunt to find hidden gems inside the exhibit.
The train garden is currently scheduled to be open on:
- Nov. 24-27
- Dec. 1-4
- Dec. 8-11
- Dec. 15-18
- Dec. 22-24
- Dec. 26-31
- Jan. 5-7
The planned weekday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday hours are noon to 6 p.m.
Hours and dates are subject to change.
The train garden is run by volunteers. Organizers are currently recruiting more helpers. Interested volunteers can learn how to sign up at this link.
