GLEN BURNIE, MD - A fatal car crash in Glen Burnie claimed a man Sunday morning, police said.
Officers identified the victim as 59-year-old Brian Keith Gibbs of Glen Burnie.
Authorities said Gibbs was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro on northbound Maryland Route 10, just north of E. Ordnance Road.
Gibbs' sports car sideswiped a 2012 Ford Explorer SUV, police said.
Officers said the Chevrolet left the roadway and hit a tree.
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department pronounced Gibbs dead on the scene, a press release said.
Authorities said the Ford's driver and single passenger were not hurt.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department is still investigating.
