BROOKLYN, MD - Police said a suspect stabbed a man in his face and a woman in her torso Sunday in northern Anne Arundel County.

The two victims and the suspect were all hospitalized, officers said.  Authorities expect them all to survive.

Police said they arrested the suspect, identified as 39-year-old India Monique Powell of Brooklyn, Maryland.

Officers said they were called to the 4900 block of Ritchie Highway for the report of an assault Sunday around 11:30 p.m.

Authorities said the suspect got into an argument with a 27-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman.

Police said the suspect grabbed a knife and stabbed the woman on the right side of her torso.

Officers said the man intervened before getting stabbed as well.

Authorities said the injured woman then punched the suspect in the head.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said the suspect fled, but officers found her while searching the area.
