Restaurant Week Underway In Anne Arundel, Glen Burnie Eateries Participating

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — Maryland Restaurant Week has begun. More than 120 eateries are participating, including dozens in Anne Arundel County. 

Local highlights include:

• Blackwall Hitch (Annapolis)
• Founders Tavern & Grille (Pasadena)
• Ruth's Chris Steak House (Odenton)
• Killarney House (Davidsonville)
• Rams Head Dockside (Glen Burnie)

Restaurant Week runs from Sept. 15 to Sept. 24 and offers diners the opportunity to try different restaurants or patronize their favorites, with special menus, discounts or seasonal fare for dine-in, curbside or carryout.

The Restaurant Association of Maryland, the trade association that represents the state's food service industry, said this is the fourth consecutive year for the event.

“We’re proud to bring back Maryland Restaurant week for its fourth year,” said Marshall Weston Jr., RAM president and CEO. “This week is a terrific opportunity for the community to try out new restaurants as well as re-discover traditional favorites. We highly encourage everyone to help our state’s restaurant industry thrive by supporting their local restaurants, whether through dine in or carry out.”

All segments of the food service industry will participate, including diners, family restaurants, fine dining, quick service and fast casual. All participating restaurants will offer promotions, features or specials.
