BROOKLYN PARK, MD - Police said they arrested two suspects after recent gunfire in Brooklyn Park. No shooting injuries or damage were listed in this encounter.

Officers on Monday identified the arrestees as Lauren Nicole Lambert, 18, and Chalon Joshua Johnson, 26. Both are from Brooklyn, Maryland.

Authorities said they were called last Friday around 9:10 p.m. for shots fired near Patrick Henry Drive and Dell Street.

Witnesses reported seeing a white sedan in the area during the gunfire, a press release said.

Responding officers said they saw a white Honda leaving the area and stopped the car.

Police said two passengers fled and the driver, later identified as Lambert, was apprehended.

Authorities said they quickly found one of the passengers and took him into custody as well.

Officers said they also found a 9mm handgun in the car.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it charged the suspects accordingly.
