Hi, Candy!
Just between "us girls," I turned 60 in January, have a bad back and a calcium spur that is destroying the rotocuff in my shoulder, and so on. I *can't* haul the big trash can up the hill on a good day--and in the rain or snow??? There are no chivalrous males in this neighborhood who would offer--they let me shovel myself out, all through Snowmageddon, and I even helped a couple of them besides. If I were on flat land--if I had a garage--it might be different, but I'm alone, and there's not much I can do about that. So please don't think my anger is directed at you. I want to get away from this state and this area altogether, but my house is "under water"--so I'm stuck.
