Police say there is a link between robberies at two separate Royal Farms stores.
Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on a suspect they believe was involved in two armed robberies of separate Royal Farms stores in Glen Burnie last month. The first robbery occurred at 3:40 a.m. on March 22, at the store on the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard. The second robbery—identified as an unsuccessful attempt—occurred less than a week later, at 3:03 a.m. on March 28, at the store on the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive. Anne Arundel County police are seeking information about a man involved in an attempted robbery at a Royal Farms in Glen Burnie early Thursday. Shortly after 3 a.m., a man entered the Royal Farms on the 200 block of Oak Manor Road and approached a female clerk, displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot when the clerk called for help from another employee, according to police. Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspect. Police say that four suspects fought with each other in the parking lot after they were locked out of the Glen Burnie Royal Farms store by the clerks they were attempting to rob.
Four men, who police said were attempting to rob a Royal Farms, began fighting in the parking lot early Monday morning after the clerks locked one of the men out of the store, according to a police press release. (OBI), which is an organization that provides vocational training and employment services for adults with developmental disabilities. They provide his transportation to and from work. The Severn resident has been working at Royal Farms for three years doing more than just cleaning up. You may see him preparing the coffee bar or emptying and refilling the trash cans. Police say James Harvey Flemmons, 20, of Glen Burnie was one of three young men to assault and rob a man early Wednesday morning.
Anne Arundel County police arrested one of three young men early Wednesday morning in connection with the assault and robbery of a man near a Glen Burnie Royal Farms. Police were unable to locate the additional suspects, described as teenage boys. James Harvey Flemmons, 20, of the 6900 block of Glen Ridge Circle was charged with robbery, second-degree assault, theft and disorderly conduct. A two-car accident on Oakwood Road sent three people to Baltimore Washington Medical Center with minor injuries.
Three people were taken to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center (BWMC) Thursday morning after being involved in a two-car accident in Glen Burnie. At about 8:43 a.m. police and fire officials responded to Oakwood Road at the Route 100 ramp near Royal Farms where there was an accident between a white Chevrolet and a gray Cadillac. According to fire officials, the Chevrolet was on its side and police said the accident blocked one lane of traffic for a period of time. Three people were taken to BWMC with minor injuries, according to fire officials.
