Police: Woman Escapes Glen Burnie Rapist at Grocery Store

A man held a woman he apparently knew against her will and raped her at his Glen Burnie residence, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after a woman reported being stabbed and raped by the man in his residence on Monday morning. The woman managed to alert some grocery store employees and police charged the man with several counts of rape, assault, robbery and false imprisonment. Police arrived at the Food Lion on the 100 block of Crain Highway shortly before noon and spoke to a woman who said the man who had brought her there was keeping her against her will. She told police the man, who she knows through her job, had earlier stabbed her and raped her at his home. Police located Shane Lee Miller, 37, inside the grocery store and charged him with first-degree rape, first-degree sex offense, robbery, first-degree assault…

The alleged victim was a healthcare worker sent to his home to care for him without an escort or security by a Howard county healthcare agency. This guy has a violent past history. Police: Man Impersonated Officer in Alleged Sexual Assault

An anonymous call from a female who said a man showed up at her Linthicum hotel door with handcuffs led police to arrest Tamango Johnson, 38, of Baltimore.

Police arrested a Baltimore man Saturday and charged him with impersonating a police officer, rape and other sexual offenses after two incidents at the Microtel Inn and Suites in Linthicum. Tamango Johnson, 38, was charged with first- and second-degree rape; first-, second-, third- and fourth-degree sex offense; first- and second-degree assault; false imprisonment and impersonating a police officer. Police received a complaint at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday from an anonymous female who said a man showed up at her door at a Linthicum Microtel Inn and Suites with handcuffs, according to a police press release. She told police that she heard that handcuffs were involved in a Dec. 27 sexual assault at the same hotel and refused to open the door …

Police Seek Man in Connection With Alleged Rape of Teen Girl

Anne Arundel County Police released a composite sketch of the man they believe may have raped a 15-year-old girl in Glen Burnie Tuesday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Police are investigating the possible rape of a 15-year-old girl in Glen Burnie Tuesday afternoon and have released a composite sketched of the man suspected to have committe the crime. The alleged incident took place at about 1:45 p.m. in the wooded area behind 7800 block of Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie. "According to the juvenile victim, the alleged sexual assault took place in a wooded area. Details leading up to the incident are still being investiagted," said police spokesman Justin Mulcahy. Police relased the composite sketch of the suspect and Mulcahy said detectives plan on doing a neighborhood canvass to pass out fliers to the public.
