Man Shot in Brooklyn Park Home Invasion

Anne Arundel County police are looking into a robbery at a Brooklyn Park home that led to a shooting.

Anne Arundel County police are investigating a robbery in Brooklyn Park that led to the shooting of a resident Wednesday night. Police said shortly after 6:30 p.m., two men entered a residence on the 200 block of Southerly Road, produced a gun and announced a robbery. A 27-year-old man was shot in the upper body during the robbery, according to police. Arriving officers searched the immediate area but failed to locate the suspect. An emergency crew transported the victim to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police are actively investigating the incident and interviewing witnesses. Police Arrest Five in Brooklyn Park Drug Bust

Suspected heroin and suspected crack cocaine were discovered.

Anne Arundel County police arrested five people in a Brooklyn Park home Tuesday morning while serving a narcotics warrant. Shortly after 9 a.m., police entered a home on the 900 block of Victory Avenue and found 5.63 grams of suspected heroin and .20 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
