Glen Burnie Fire Report: 2 Accidents, Home Fire
The fire department handled two accidents and a home fire in Glen Burnie on Sunday.
Glen Burnie: Accident Firefighters and medics responded to the area of Route 10 south and Furnace Branch Drive in Glen Burnie where a car had reportedly rolled over on the highway, according to Anne Arundel County fire spokesman Chief Michael Cox. Four people suffered minor injuries. They were transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Glen Burnie: Fire Firefighters were dispatched to a home fire at the 100 block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie at 6:02 p.m. Sunday where crews found smoke coming from the basement of a one-story house, Cox said. It took 20 firefighters about 20 minutes to put the one-alarm fire out. The cause is under investigation but is believed to be accidental, Cox said. The fire caused about $30,000 in damage. …
