The Northeast Athletic Boosters hosted their second annual Spring Festival on Saturday at Sunset Elementary School. The festival was hosted by teams and clubs at Northeast High School, and featured many local businesses. All funds raised are used to support the Northeast athletic teams.

The Northeast Athletic Boosters will host their second annual Spring Festival on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Spring Festival, hosted by teams and clubs at Northeast, presents a carnival-like atmosphere complete with many games and prizes. There will also be local craft vendors and artisans, as well as food and concessions provided by local businesses. All funds raised will be used to support the Northeast athletic teams. Last year’s festival was held as a final farewell to the school's old football stadium, which was demolished to start construction for a new field. Close to 1,000 guests attended the 2011 carnival.
