Dick's Stops Sale of Some Semi-Automatic Guns After Newtown Shooting

Dick's Sporting Goods also stopped selling all firearms at its location near Newtown, according to reports.

Dick's Sporting Goods, the sports equipment chain, announced it removed all guns from its location near Newtown, Conn., and has suspended the sale of certain semi-automatic "modern sporting rifles" from all locations, according to CNN. According to MarketResearch.com, Dick's owns more than 500 retail locations throughout the country, including one on Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The sporting goods retailer has not announced how long the suspension of the gun sales will last, according to the report. This also comes after the news that nearly 500 guns were turned in as part of an exchange for grocery gift cards in Baltimore this weekend. …

Naturally when they start losing customers they will do the double talk of saying the weapons were 'Suspended' not totally discontinued. I'm sure they don't do that much gun sales to worry about it.
