A Glen Burnie High School student has been named as a semifinalist to serve on the Maryland State Board of Education. Kevin Adams was one of five high school juniors selected following an interview process with fellow students and one adult. There are two other students from Anne Arundel County in the running. There will be an election on Jan. 26 to determine the two finalists for the board, and Gov. Martin O'Malley will make the final selection. To see who the other semifinalists are, click here.
