Fundraiser Held Sunday to Replace Lost 7-Eleven Money

A friend of the man who lost the cash has organized a fundraiser on Sunday to help the 7-Eleven owner replace the money that was lost along I-97 and Route 100.

A Glen Burnie 7-Eleven owner accidentally lost a large amount of cash early Thursday morning by leaving his bank bag on top of his car, according to Maryland State Police (MSP). Now his friends are rallying around the man to help him recover the money that was lost, according to an event created on Facebook. Jennifer Parsley is asking the community to stop by the store, located at 7112 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie, on Sunday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to make small donations. Some of the money, which the store owner said he saw scattered along Maryland Route 100 and Interstate 97 in Glen Burnie, has been returned, Parsley wrote on Facebook.
