Video: 'I Have a Dream' Speech
A Dr. King Memorial in D.C. was completed last August.
Martin Luther King Jr. delivered the "I Have a Dream" speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial before 250,000 people in 1963. In a country of famous speeches this is notably one of the most memorable. The civil rights activist was born Jan. 15, 1929, and a United States federal holiday was established in 1986. Just in case you haven't seen the speech in its entirety or if it's been awhile, feel free to view this video.
