Four people were hospitalized, including one seriously, in the crash shortly before 7 a.m.
Four people were hurt and Hospital Drive was temporarily closed Friday morning following a crash near Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Division Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the crash involved three vehicles and happened shortly before 7 a.m. at the 300 block of Hospital Drive. Three people received treatment for minor injuries at BWMC nearby. A fourth victim, a man approximately 51 years old, sustained more serious injuries and was rushed to Shock Trauma.

Police are calling on the public to help them identify the man who was photographed robbing the Shell gas station located in the 300 block of Hospital Drive Sunday at gunpoint. The man was described as being white, in his early to mid 20’s, between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150-170 pounds and clean shaven. Police arrived at about 9:33 p.m. and spoke with a 31-year-old store clerk who said a man entered the store, displayed a shotgun and demanded money. The clerk said he complied by giving the man an undisclosed amount of money and then he fled the area on foot, according to police.
