Police Seek Information About December 2010 Fight at Golden Corral

Anne Arundel County Police would like to speak with any witnesses of a fight at the Glen Burnie Golden Corral on Dec. 7, 2010, that a medical examiner said led to the death of a Halethorpe man.

Police officers are looking for people who may have witnessed a fight in a Glen Burnie Golden Corral in December 2010 that led to the the death of a Halethorpe man. According to police, officers responded to the Golden Corral restaurant located in the 6700 block of Chesapeake Center Drive in Glen Burnie at about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 7, 2010, for a reported altercation. Police learned that Francis Lewis Sr. was involved in an altercation inside the restaurant with another man. When police arrived the second man—who is described as being white, between 18-21 years old, weighing about 200 pounds and having on blue jeans and a white T-shirt—was no longer was on the scene. Gazette: Man Died After Dec. 2010 Fight at Glen Burnie Restaurant, Death Now Ruled a Homicide

Nine months after a Halethorpe man died as a result of injuries sustained during a fight at Golden Corral, a medical examiner has ruled it a homicide.

According to the Maryland Gazette, a state medical examiner has determined the December 2010 death of a Halethorpe man after an altercation at a Glen Burnie Golden Corral to be a a homicide. Francis Lewis Jr., 66, died from injuries he suffered from being hit by a man during a disagreement at the restaurant, the Gazette reported.
