Police: 2 Teens Take Man's Cell Phone

The incident occurred in Glen Burnie and police were unable to locate the suspects.

A man told police that his cell phone was taken by two male suspects, who appeared to be in their late teens, on Monday just before 6 p.m. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from northern district responded to the 6500 block of Home Water Way in Glen Burnie for a reported robbery. The man told officers that one of the suspects approached and asked if he could use his cell phone. "The victim was in the process of handing over his cell phone when the second suspect pushed him and the first suspect snatched the phone from his hand," according to a press release from police. Drug Investigation Results in 1 Arrest in Glen Burnie

Police say the arrest was the result of a month-long investigation into suspected drug distribution in Anne Arundel County.

Police said a month-long investigation into suspected drug distribution in Anne Arundel County resulted in one arrest on Friday. Ryan Ernest Dales, 24, of the 3200 block of Southgreen Road in Windsor Mill, MD, faces multiple drug-related charges, according to Anne Arundel County police. Detectives made contact with Dales on Friday at about 11 a.m. in his car in the Blen Burnie area, according to a police press release. Police seized about 17.7 grams of suspected heroin worth about $1,700, drug paraphernalia, a 2009 Nissan Altima, and $1,140 in cash.

Woman Reports Attempted Robbery on Ritchie Highway

Police say the woman was treated for minor injuries after the incident.

A woman told police she was involved in a struggle on Sunday night after a man tried to rob her in the 5700 block of Ritchie Highway. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from the northern district responded to a reported robbery attempt at about 8:40 p.m Sunday. The woman told police she was able to flee after the man attemped to rob her, and was injured during a struggle. She was transported to Harbor Hospital in Baltimore and treated for minor injuries, police said. Although multiple officers responded to the scene and canvassed the area, police said they were unable to locate the suspect. Police: Man Reports Prescription Medicine Stolen

The incident occurred on Sunday evening and police were unable to locate the suspects.

A man told police that his prescription medication was taken on Sunday evening in Glen Burnie. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from the northern and eastern districts responded to a report of a robbery in the 200 block of Oak Manor Drive. The man told police he was in the front passenger’s seat of a parked vehicle with an acquaintance when two men approached and started a conversation. Police said one of the men reached into the vehicle and, after a struggle, took the man's medication. The men fled the scene and police were unable to locate them. Drug Search Results in 4 Arrests

At two homes in the Point Pleasant area, police seized more than $5,000 worth of drugs.

Police arrested four men on drug-related charges after searching two homes in the Point Pleasant area on Tuesday afternoon. Anne Arundel County police said the search took place in the 1000 block of 1st Street at about 2 p.m. Tuesday and detectives seized marijuana, marijuana plants, hashish, paraphernalia and a Chevrolet Impala car. Patrick Cory Rhodes, 18, of the 7800 block of Leymar Road in Glen Burnie; Chase Douglas Hynson, 23, of the 1000 block of 1st Street in Glen Burnie; Jacob Ryan Qualls, 23, 7600 Marcy Dr. in Glen Burnie; and Anthony William Kozak, 33, of the 1000 block of 1st Street were each charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Police: Man in White Van Tried to Abduct Woman

The woman was not injured and was able to run away.

Police are looking for a man who drives a white work van in connection with an attempted abduction that took place Monday night in Glen Burnie. According to Anne Arundel County police, the incident occurred at about 9:42 p.m. in the area of 5th and Delmar avenues in Glen Burnie. A woman said that a man "accosted her on the side of the road" before trying to pull her into his van, according to a police press release. The woman was able to get away and was not injured, police said. The suspect is described by police as a Hispanic male, about 30 years old with short, black hair and paint on his arm; and the suspect's vehicle is a white work van with a ladder rack (holding a ladder), tinted windows and a sliding side door. Police Seek Suspect in Liquor Store Robbery

Photos show the suspect and police are hoping someone recognizes him.

Police are seeking the public's help to identify a man who may be connected to an armed robbery at Clauss Liquors in Glen Burnie.  According to Anne Arundel County police, a man was caught on camera during an incident Sunday at 6:53 a.m. at the liquor store located in the 600 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie. Police said the suspect displayed a black handgun, took cash and fled the scene in a black, four-door sedan. He can be seen in surveillance photos and police described him as a black man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall with an average build, wearing a dark-colored jacket, a black baseball hat and dark jean pants. Man Exposes Himself at Park, Police Say

Police took a camera and iPad from the man's van after they charged him with indecent exposure.

Witnesses told police that a man was performing a lewd act inside a work van at Sawmill Creek Park on Tuesday afternoon.  According to Anne Arundel County police, the incident occurred at about 4:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie. Officers arrived on scene and found the man "seated in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with his pants unzipped and his genitalia in plain view," according to a police press release. Police charged Gary Wikstrom, 57, of the 6200 block of Gay Topaz in Columbia with indecent exposure and confiscated a camera and iPad found in the van as evidence. The investigation is ongoing, police said. 

Body Discovered Behind Glen Burnie Costume Store

The body is the second one discovered in northern Anne Arundel County this summer, after Jessica Lee of Brooklyn Park was found dead in Pasadena.
