A woman told police she saw a man at her sliding glass door committing a lewd act on Wednesday morning. Anne Arundel County police responded to the apartments in the 7400 block of Furnace Branch Road in Glen Burnie for a report of an indecent exposure in progress at about 7 a.m. Wednesday. The 65-year-old female victim told police she was inside her ground-floor apartment when she saw a man standing at her rear sliding glass door. He reportedly had his "pants unzipped and was committing a lewd act while looking in through the glass at her," according to police. The incident was reported Sunday night in the area of New Freetown and Freetown roads.
Police are searching for a man who they said stole money and a man's boots in the Freetown area on Sunday night. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers responded to the area of New Freetown and Freetown roads at 8:09 p.m. on Sunday night for a reported robbery. Police spoke with a man who said he was walking in the area when he was approached by another man who indicated he had a gun. The man ordered the victim to the ground and demanded his money and boots. Police said the victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money. Several officers, a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the man. A 26-year-old Baltimore man was found shot and stabbed early Sunday in Anne Arundel County and police arrested three people in connection with the incident.
UPDATE (10:30 p.m.)—Police made three arrests after a man was found dead early Sunday in a wooded area of Glen Burnie. Anne Arundel County police identified the victim as Darrren Dwayne Bell, 26, of the 500 block of Round View Road in Baltimore. Police said Eric Banks, 48, of Baltimore was charged with first-degree murder; Erica Banks, 27, of Glen Burnie and Tremain Calhoun, 24, of Pasadena were each charged with possession of a handgun. Detectives determined Erica Banks and Bell were acquaintances reportedly involved in an ongoing dispute. Police have not released the reason the four were in the area together. UPDATE (1:20 p.m.)—Police charged a man in connection to an incident early Thursday morning at Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie where there was a reported assault. There was also a fire at the same apartment complex. Police charged Toriano Avery Angibeau of the 2100 block of Hillwood Road in Glen Burnie with four counts of second-degree assault and said the fire appears to be related. The Fire Marshal’s office is continuing their investigation of the fire, police said. Police say one man grabbed a victim and another stole his wallet early Monday.
Two men robbed a victim of his wallet early Monday near Secluded Post Circle and Hidden Brook Drive in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County police. Shortly before 1 a.m., two men approached a victim in the wooded area between apartment complexes. One of the men reportedly grabbed the victim while the second man took the victim's wallet from his pocket. The suspects fled on foot through the woods. Police are asking for help in identifying the men shown in surveillance photos at Marley Station mall in Glen Burnie. The men may be connected to a Pasadena purse snatching, according to police.
Four men possibly connected to a purse snatching on Tuesday night in Pasadena were caught on camera using the victim's credit cards at Marley Station mall in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County police. Patch previously reported that officers from the eastern district responded to the 2500 block of Mountain Road on Tuesday at about 7:26 p.m. for a reported robbery. A 65-year-old woman told police she was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot when she was approached by a man who demanded her wallet. The man grabbed the woman's purse and fled towards East Shore Road in a small silver-colored vehicle with three other passengers, police said. At approximately 8:15 p.m. on Monday, two male suspects approached a female victim on the 8000 block of Winding Wood Road, and one of the suspects struck the victim with an unknown object, according to Anne Arundel County police. The victim told police the suspects took her purse and fled on foot. Police failed to locate the suspects, after a K-9 search of the immediate area. A man faces multiple drug-related charges after police said detectives searched a Glen Burnie home on Thursday and found marijuana, explosive devices and black powder pistols. According to Anne Arundel County police, detectives from the northern district executed a narcotics search warrant in the 100 block of Georgia Avenue NW in Glen Burnie on Thursday just before noon. Police discovered explosive-making materials and two explosive devices (pipe bombs) so they notified the Anne Arundel County Fire Department and Annapolis City Bomb Squad. A teen told police that a passenger got out of a light-colored BMW and took his electronic musical device on Monday afternoon in Glen Burnie. According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from the eastern district responded to the 8000 block of Phirne Road East for a reported robbery at about 2:29 p.m. Monday. Police said the teen was walking along Phirne Road East towards Crain Highway when the BMW reportedly stopped, and a passenger got out and grabbed the teen from behind.
