UPDATE: Woman Dies in Marley House Fire
The Anne Arundel County Fire Department says the incident caused $10,000 in damages.
UPDATE (6:20 p.m.)—A woman died and 11 people were displaced after a house fire in the Marley area of Glen Burnie on Friday night, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. A press release stated that the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner identified the woman as 50-year-old Shari Lee DeStefano and determined the cause of death to be fire related. Division Chief Keith Swindle said crews responded to a fire in the unit block of Sumac Road at 10:22 p.m. on Friday and found visible smoke coming from the one-story multiple family home.
