Police Seize $7,000 in Cocaine From Pair in Glen Burnie

A traffic stop led to the seizure of cocaine at a Glen Burnie hotel Monday night.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a man and woman from Pasadena in a traffic stop that ultimately led officers to find $7,000 in cocaine at a hotel in Glen Burnie on Monday night. Between April and May, detectives received a tip that two people were distributing cocaine between Glen Burnie and Pasadena. At approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, police conducted a traffic stop of the two suspects described in the tip, on Route 10 near Furnace Branch Road. Police arrested both occupants, and obtained a warrant to search a room in a Glen Burnie hotel. Officers seized approximately 70 grams of cocaine inside the hotel room, valued at $7,000 along with $800 in cash. 2 Charged in Glen Burnie Drug Bust

Police seized marijuana, prescription drugs and a shotgun after carrying out a warrant.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two people and seized nearly $8,000 worth of marijuana and prescription medication while serving a search warrant at a residence on Glen Burnie on Friday night. Tavon Lamont Hood, 25, of Columbia, and Aneise Elaine Gentry, 53, were charged in connection with the discovery of drugs. Shortly after 10:30 p.m. on May 3, narcotics and patrol officers entered a residence on the 400 block of Old Stage Road and found 189 grams of marijuana, 62 tablets of Oxycontin, eight tablets of Alprazalom, drug paraphernalia, $509 in cash and a 12-gauge shotgun. Police estimated the marijuana would have a street value of $3,800 and the Oxycontin has a street value of $3,900. Hood was charged with three counts of drug …

Police Find Crack During Glen Burnie Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop reveals the man had an outstanding warrant.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man early Friday, after an officer determined the man had an outstanding warrant and then discovered he had some crack cocaine. Shortly after 1:30 a.m., an officer made a routine traffic stop in the area of Crain Highway and 8th Avenue, and found the driver had an outstanding warrant. While arresting the man, the officer seized 4.52 grams of crack cocaine and $450 in cash. Police charged Michael Anthony English, 24, of Glen Burnie, with drug possession not marijuana and drug possession with intent to distribute. Court documents show English had an outstanding warrant for narcotics charges filed in January.

Police Seize Drugs in 2 Glen Burnie Traffic Stops

Police arrested men in two separate incidents that resulted in the seizure of drugs.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men early Wednesday after two separate traffic stops in Glen Burnie that resulted in the seizure of several types of drugs. Shortly after 1 a.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle in the area of Ritchie Highway and Dover Road. According to police, the officer "developed probable cause" and searched the vehicle, finding 18 bags of marijuana, five capsules of heroin and one Oxycodone pill. The police department also seized the suspect's vehicle. Police arrested Christopher Green, 23, of Baltimore, and charged him with possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, two counts of possessing drugs not marijuana with intent to distribute and possession…

Police Find Rental Van Full of Drugs, Cash

A Brooklyn Park woman faces drug-related charges and police are seeking a Baltimore man who was driving a rental van containing more than $12,000 worth of drugs.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Brooklyn Park woman and are seeking a man who ran from a van containing more than $12,000 worth of drugs and $10,000 cash on Tuesday. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Reginald Woodson, 32, of Baltimore in connection to the incident but have not yet located him, according to police spokesperson Justin Mulcahy. Marquile Young, 31, of Brooklyn Park was arrested on drug-related charges. Shortly after 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the Sleep Inn hotel on the 6000 block of Belle Grove Rd. for a report of "unauthorized use" of a vehicle. Another Teen Charged with Dealing Drugs in Brooklyn Park

Police charged a 19-year-old with dealing drugs after undercover officers purchased marijuana from him in Brooklyn Park.

Anne Arundel County police charged a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man with selling marijuana to undercover officers Monday night. It was the second time in two weeks that police have charged teens with dealing drugs in Brooklyn Park. Undercover officers purchased crack cocaine from two teenagers–one a juvenile–on April 3. At approximately 11 p.m. Monday night, two undercover detectives, responding to complaints of drug dealing, successfully purchased $20 worth of marijuana from a man in the area of Church Street and Disney Avenue. As a result, police arrested Jordon William Dasher, 19, of Brooklyn Park, and charged him with distributing marijuana. Police: Teens Deal Crack Cocaine in Brooklyn Park

Police arrested two teens—one a juvenile—after undercover officers were able to purchase drugs early Wednesday.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man and an unidentified 17-year-old male, after undercover officers were able to purchase drugs from them early Wednesday. According to police, undercover detectives were in Brooklyn Park after the department received complaints of drug activity. Shortly after midnight, two detectives reportedly approached two males near Belle Grove and W. Edgevale roads, and were able to make a hand-to-hand purchase of crack cocaine. Officers seized 10 vials of crack cocaine and 7.72 grams of marijuana. Police charged Carlester Jamal Bert, 19, of Brooklyn Park with distribution of a narcotic and possession of marijuana. Glen Burnie Drug Warrant Turns Up Crack Cocaine, Marijuana

Police found drugs, a handgun and paraphernalia while carrying out a drug warrant Monday night.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after finding drugs, paraphernalia and a handgun during a drug search Monday night. Police arrested Demetrius Travon Brown, 27, of Glen Burnie, after officers with the department's tactical patrol and narcotics teams carried out a drug warrant at a residence on McGuirk Drive about 9 p.m. Police seized 1.96 grams of crack cocaine, 6.28 grams of marijuana, a .32-caliber handgun, drug paraphernalia and $267 in cash. Drug Warrants Turn Up Heroin, Crack, Marijuana and Guns

Police served warrants in the past week that led to arrests and the seizure of drugs and guns.

Glen Burnie Arrest Anne Arundel County police carrying out a drug warrant at a residence on the 4000 block of W. Furnace Branch Road seized 96 capsules containing a "small amount" of heroin, a "small amount" of marijuana and paraphernalia. Police arrested Zachary M. Mallicote, 23, of Glen Burnie, and charged him with two counts of paraphernalia possession. Pumphrey Arrest Anne Arundel County police carrying out a drug warrant on March 20 at a residence on the 300 block of Berlin Avenue in Pumphrey, seized crack cocaine, marijuana, two guns, a vehicle, cash and paraphernalia. Undercover Police Arrest Glen Burnie Man in Drug Sting

Police say the man in Brooklyn Park was charged with two counts of distribution.

Undercover detectives for the Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested a Glen Burnie man after an undercover sting turned up crack cocaine in Brooklyn Park on Tuesday. According to police, the undercover detectives were assigned to the area of 11th and Victory avenues after the department received complaints of drug activity. At approximately 2 p.m., a man approached the detectives and made a "hand to hand" sale of crack cocaine to the police officers. Police immediately arrested the man, who was found to have open warrants from Baltimore County.
