Anne Arundel County police found cocaine, crack and marijuana during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.
Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after discovering several types of drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop. At approximately 2 p.m., officers from the department's tactical patrol unit conducted an "investigative traffic stop" of a 2009 Hyundai Sonata on the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie. The officers seized 16 bags of crack cocaine, two bags of powder cocaine, one bag of marijuana, the suspect's vehicle and $2,600 in cash. The drugs have a street value of almost $900 according to police. A drug bust in Glen Burnie turned up marijuana and cash, according to police.
Anne Arundel County police arrested a man after finding 224 grams of marijuana in a Glen Burnie apartment during a drug bust. At approximately 5 p.m. on Friday, narcotics and patrol officers carried out a drug warrant at an apartment on the 100 block of Faywood Court in Glen Burnie, seizing 224 grams of marijuana, with an estimated treat value of $4,480, as well as $19,686 in cash. Police arrested Brandon Blake, 23, of Glen Burnie, and charged him with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Suspected heroin and suspected crack cocaine were discovered.
Anne Arundel County police arrested five people in a Brooklyn Park home Tuesday morning while serving a narcotics warrant. Shortly after 9 a.m., police entered a home on the 900 block of Victory Avenue and found 5.63 grams of suspected heroin and .20 grams of suspected crack cocaine. Police arrest four people and make several drug charges against three.
Anne Arundel County police found several types of drugs and guns while carrying out a drug warrant Thursday night in Glen Burnie. At approximately 10 p.m., officers carried out a narcotics warrant at a home on the 100 block of Queen Anne Road after "numerous" complaints were made to authorities, according to police. Officers arrested four people inside the home and seized more than 5 grams of crack cocaine, .72 grams of heroin, two shotguns, a handgun, a rifle and drug paraphernalia. Police arrested a Glen Burnie mother and son Thursday night during a search that turned up marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin. Anne Arundel County Police Department's tactical narcotics unit carried out the search warrant at 205 Hollins Ferry Road South. Police arrested the two residents and seized drugs, cash, drug paraphernalia and a handgun. A Baltimore man's alleged use of counterfeit money to pay for a hotel room in Linthicum led police to arrest him on forged currency and drug distribution charges, police said. Diarra W. Anne Arundel County police arrested a Brooklyn Park teen on drug charges Wednesday night. The 17-year-old Brooklyn Park boy was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana. According to a police press release, officers were conducting surveillance of loitering and possible drug activity at the 10th Avenue Park in Brooklyn Park at about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers saw a group of people loitering by the baseball fields and approached them. Detectives seized 30 individual bags of suspected marijuana—with a total weight of about 5.56 grams—from the 17-year-old, police said.

Anne Arundel County police have arrested two men they believe were engaged in a heroin transaction in Brooklyn Park on Tuesday afternoon. Kevin Charles Brown, 32, of the 6000 block of Amberwood Court in Baltimore, was charged with distribution of heroin, possession with the intent to distribute heroin and possession of heroin.
