Police arrested two teens—one a juvenile—after undercover officers were able to purchase drugs early Wednesday.
Anne Arundel County police arrested a 19-year-old Brooklyn Park man and an unidentified 17-year-old male, after undercover officers were able to purchase drugs from them early Wednesday. According to police, undercover detectives were in Brooklyn Park after the department received complaints of drug activity. Shortly after midnight, two detectives reportedly approached two males near Belle Grove and W. Edgevale roads, and were able to make a hand-to-hand purchase of crack cocaine. Officers seized 10 vials of crack cocaine and 7.72 grams of marijuana. Police charged Carlester Jamal Bert, 19, of Brooklyn Park with distribution of a narcotic and possession of marijuana. Police arrested two people after a drug bust on Thursday.
Anne Arundel County police arrested two people after seizing crack cocaine and marijuana during a drug bust at a Glen Burnie home on Thursday. At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers from the department's narcotics team and patrol unit carried out a drug warrant at a residence on the 200 block of Scotts Manor Drive. Police said that as officers entered the home, they found a suspect flushing several baggies of cocaine down the toilet. Police seized four baggies of crack cocaine, totaling 1.85 grams, and 5.21 grams of marijuana. They also seized $417 in cash, a scale and packing material consistent with a distribution operation. After receiving a complaint about a suspected drug dealer in the area, police launched an investigation that resulted in the arrest of a Baltimore man in Brooklyn Park on Thursday. According to Anne Arundel County police, the county's Special Enforcement Section worked with the Baltimore Police Department’s Southern District Operational Flex Squad to search the Budget Plaza Motel located in the 4800 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park on Thursday at about 2:56 p.m. Police said the joint investigation between the counties stemmed from a complaint about a suspect dealing drugs in areas of Linthicum, Brooklyn Park and south Baltimore. Anne Arundel County police arrested three men Tuesday night after officers seized drugs and paraphernalia while carrying out a warrant in Brooklyn Park. Officers from the department's narcotics and patrol units executed a drug warrant at a home on the 5800 block of Belle Grove Road around 10 p.m., resulting in the seizure of 14 oxycodone pills, .17 grams of crack cocaine, $511 in cash and more than 13 grams of marijuana. Undercover officers for the Anne Arundel County Police Department have made three arrests in two separate incidents where the officers successfully purchased crack cocaine from individuals in Brooklyn Park. According to police, on Nov. 28, undercover officers investigating reports of illegal activity at a residence on the 100 block of Camrose Avenue approached two women near the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Hammonds Lane. Police arrested a Glen Burnie mother and son Thursday night during a search that turned up marijuana, crack cocaine and heroin. A call for possible shots fired in a parking lot on Monday night in Glen Burnie led police to a man reportedly in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. According to press release from Anne Arundel County police, detectives responded to the 300 block of Mountain Ridge Court in Glen Burnie on Monday about 7:35 p.m. Police found a man on the scene in possession of about three ounces of suspected crack cocaine with a street value of more than $10,000.
