Missing Glen Burnie Boater Found in Maryland Creek
According to Anne Arundel County Fire spokesman, man jumped off the back of the boat and didn't resurface.
Update: WTOP radio is reporting that the body of the missing boater was found Sunday afternoon. The report said that Charles Ryder, 48, of Glen Burnie, was found using sonar and divers. Authorities said that Ryder was out on an 18-foot Sea Ray boat with others on Saturday afternoon when he jumped into Stony Creek while the boat was moving. Ryder didn't resurface. Anne Arundel County Fire, Baltimore Fire, Maryland Natural Resource Police, Coast Guard and Maryland State Police searched Saturday for Ryder until nightfall.
