Sun: Glen Burnie Man Found Strangled to Death in Baltimore

Armando Santiago, 42, was found unresponsive Friday evening in an alley in the rear of the 700 block of East Patapsco Avenue, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The Baltimore Sun reported Monday that a Glen Burnie man had been identified as the man found dead Friday evening in a Baltimore alley. Baltimore Police said there were no signs of trauma to the body but an autopsy revealed that he had been strangled to death, the Sun reported. Armando Santiago, 42, was found unresponsive in an alley in the rear of the 700 block of East Patapsco Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Baltimore, according to the Sun. Sun: Glen Burnie Man Sentenced 10 Years for Child Sex Trafficking

According to an earlier plea agreement, Derwin Samuel Smith was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the trafficking and prostitution of a 12-year-old girl, the Baltimore Sun reported.

According to the Baltimore Sun, a Glen Burnie man was sentenced to 10 years in prison when the court accepted a plea agreement where Derwin Samuel Smith, 43, pleaded guilty to the trafficking and prostitution of a 12-year-old girl. The sentence also includes 20 years of supervised release, the Sun reported. Smith pleaded guilty in March after members of the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force found the 12-year-old girl, who had been reported missing and was believed to be involved in prostitution, at a motel in Maryland City.
