Man Breaks Up Robbery of His Wife in Brooklyn Park

Police arrested one suspect and are looking for another in the Tuesday night robbery.

Anne Arundel County police arrested one woman and are seeking information on another woman involved in the assault and robbery of a woman in Brooklyn Park on Tuesday night. Shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers reported to the area of Morgan Road and Alley 88 for a report of an assault in progress, and found a man detaining a woman on the ground. The man told police that he saw his wife on the ground after she was punched in the face by the woman and another female suspect. He chased them away from his wife, and managed to detain one of the suspects who stole his wife's purse. Group Assaults, Robs Elderly Man at Glen Burnie Towne Center

Police are seeking information on six men involved in a robbery late Tuesday.

Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on six suspects involved in a robbery and assault late Tuesday in Glen Burnie. Shortly after 11 p.m., a 64-year-old man flagged down a police officer and said he had been robbed in the Toys "R" Us parking lot at Glen Burnie Towne Center, on the 6700 block of Ritchie Highway. According to police, six men approached the victim, threatened him and demanded money. The suspects took property from the victim and several of the men assaulted him, one taking the victim's walking stick and striking him. Girl Assaulted During Mid-day Robbery in Glen Burnie

Police are looking for the suspect in a robbery on Thursday.

Anne Arundel County police are seeking information on the suspect in the assault and robbery of a 17-year-old girl in Glen Burnie on Thursday afternoon. Shortly after 2:30 p.m., a man approached the girl as she was walking to the mailbox on the first floor of a building on the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court. The man punched the victim in the face and took the iPad tablet she was carrying, according to police. Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspect. Police: Woman Escapes Glen Burnie Rapist at Grocery Store

A man held a woman he apparently knew against her will and raped her at his Glen Burnie residence, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after a woman reported being stabbed and raped by the man in his residence on Monday morning. The woman managed to alert some grocery store employees and police charged the man with several counts of rape, assault, robbery and false imprisonment. Police arrived at the Food Lion on the 100 block of Crain Highway shortly before noon and spoke to a woman who said the man who had brought her there was keeping her against her will. She told police the man, who she knows through her job, had earlier stabbed her and raped her at his home. The alleged victim was a healthcare worker sent to his home to care for him without an escort or security by a Howard county healthcare agency. This guy has a violent past history. Attempted Robbery Sends Man to Shock Trauma

Police say a man was seriously injured during a robbery attempt in Brooklyn Park.

A 57-year-old man suffered serious injuries after an attempted robbery in Brooklyn Park early Thursday, according to Anne Arundel County police. Shortly before 1 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the Pizza City, in the 5600 block of Belle Grove Road, and found a 57-year-old man who has been assaulted in an attempted robbery. A crew transported the man to University of Maryland Shock Trauma with "serious injuries" from the incident. Police do not yet know whether anything was stolen from the business, and the investigation is ongoing. Girl Assaulted in Brooklyn Park Robbery Attempt

A 17-year-old girl was assaulted during an attempted robbery, according to police.

Shortly after 9 p.m. on Thursday, a 17-year-old girl reported she was assaulted during a robbery attempt on Townsend Avenue in Brooklyn Park, according to Anne Arundel County police. Three suspects approached the victim and two of her friends while walking on Townsend Avenue. The suspects, two women and one male, started punching her and demanded cash. The victim did not give them money, and the suspects fled toward Baltimore City. Police searched the immediate area for the suspects, but failed to locate them. Police Report Attempted Robbery in Linthicum Friday

Police said a man assaulted and tried to steal a woman's purse in Linthicum on Friday evening.

A man allegedly assaulted and tried to rob a woman on Friday night in Linthicum, police said. According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Camp Meade Road in Linthicum at about 7:50 p.m. Friday for a reported assault. Officers spoke with a witness who said he saw a man assaulting a woman and trying to steal her purse. The witness said he intervened and the suspect fled the scene. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, told police that she was walking in the area when the man accosted her at the intersection of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Boulevard Place and demanded money. In a separate incident, a group of male suspects robbed a man behind Ashley's Station in Ferndale early Saturday morning.

Suspects Shoot at Victim During Glen Burnie Assault

In a separate incident, police said a male suspect robbed a Glen Burnie KFC on Wednesday.

Glen Burnie: Assault, shots fired Anne Arundel County police said two male suspects fired shots as they chased a victim on Wednesday night in Glen Burnie. Police believe the victim was targeted. According to a police press release, officers responded to the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie at about 10:40 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Officers spoke with a 22-year-old man who said he was getting out of his vehicle when two male suspects demanded the man come over to them. Police arrested three teens in connection with the robbery of a man in Brooklyn Park on Monday afternoon, charging one as an adult.

Anne Arundel County police arrested three teens and are looking for additional suspects after a man said he was assaulted and robbed by a group of eight to 10 boys. Shaquille Davon Johnson, 16, of the 800 block of Washburn Avenue in Baltimore was charged as an adult with robbery, armed robbery, first-degree assault and other related charges. A 15-year-old boy from Baltimore and a 16-year-old boy from Bowie were charged as juveniles with robbery and second-degree assault.
