Police Arrest 5 After Undercover Light Rail Operation

In a separate incident, four men allegedly robbed two men and a woman as they sat in a parked car early Wednesday morning.

Glen Burnie: Undercover arrests Anne Arundel County police, in coordination with the Mass Transit Authority, arrested five people from March 8-9 during an undercover operation at the Cromwell Light Rail Station in Glen Burnie. During the operation, police arrested three people who allegedly sold drugs to undercover officers, one person was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and one person was served with an outstanding warrant, according to a police press release. Kai Hasani Farrell, 34, of the 1600 block of Federal Street in Baltimore was charged with distribution of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of marijuana. Police Charge 2 with Intent to Distribute Heroin, Cocaine

In separate incidents, police charged a man in Linthicum with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and a teenage boy allegedly involved in an armed robbery in Glen Burnie.

Brooklyn Park: Drug arrests Anne Arundel County police arrested two men on drug charges Tuesday after police said they threw drugs out of their window during an attempted traffic stop in Brooklyn Park. Damien Romon Kane, 22, of the 900 block of Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore and Michael Leroy Harvin, 30, of the 600 block of Glynlee Court in Reisterstown were charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana. Police Arrest 3 in Connection with Armed Robbery

In separate incidents, police reported a home invasion in the 6500 block of Cedar Furnace Circle and a robbery in the area of Jerome Parkway and Glenwood Road in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police arrested three men Wednesday night in connection with the armed robbery of a 24-year-old man in Glen Burnie. Officers arrested Brandon Bain, 22, of the 5600 block of Harbor Valley Drive in Brooklyn Park and Jvaughn Smith, 22, and Jquaghn Franklin, 19, of the 1500 block of Lochaber Court in Glen Burnie. Police said in a release the three men were charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft, assault, reckless endangerment and use of a firearm in a violent crime and other charges. In addition, police said Smith was charged with giving a false statement to an officer. June 10, 2011 Glen Burnie: Accident A 40-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were transported to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore after a collision Friday at Farrington and Guildford roads in Glen Burnie, said fire spokesman Chief Michael Cox. Both people have serious injuries that were not life-threatening, Cox said. Details are sketchy on the accident, however.
