Look and Feel Great on New Year's Eve

Inexpensive tips and tricks to help you save money and still look great on NYE.

Or how about all those left over cookies? Dip half of a cookie in some melted chocolate to make a nice display for the dessert table at your New Year's Eve party. Wow...AWESOME ideas! Where do you come up with this stuff?! I love the idea of shredding in place of tissue paper, and cutting out shapes from old Christmas cards to use as name tags. Very clever!   more ›

Mission: Black Friday

Prepare for a successful shopping experience on the biggest shopping weekend of the year.

Your shopping experience may be more pleasurable if you take these tips into consideration. Ready, set, go ... Even though Black Friday is the traditional day to start the holiday shopping, there is always Cyber Monday where you can do all your shopping online … in the comfort of your own home, while in your PJ's with a hot cup of coffee. Most retailers have online deals that consumers say are just as good or better—and no arguing over that parking space! Some things to keep in mind while ordering over the Internet: Keep an eye out for a full Cyber Monday story later this week. THE TIP OF ALL TIPS is to keep your receipts in one place. This is not only important for returning items, but to remember what you purchased if you hide items away…

I LOVED your tips. I especially liked the wrapped receipt box, Offers.com, and going directly to the link instead of a pop-up. THANKS! You don't even have to live in "Glen Burnie" to appreciate your tips from GBpatch.com...(I live in Bel Air)! Thanks!   more ›
