Josie and Firefly Are the Pets of the Week

Josie and Firefly are the Pets of the Week.

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Josie and Firefly. Here's what they each have to say--

Pleased to meet you! My name is Josie, and I was brought here from another shelter because they had no more room for me. I am a very sweet, spunky girl who's looking for some action! I'd love for my family to take me jogging, hiking, or at least on lots of long walks. I get very excited about all the places to go and see that sometimes I forget and pull a little hard.  That’s why I walk best on an Easy Walk harness. I'm pretty picky about other dogs and cats so I'd prefer to be the queen of the castle. I like kids, but may get a little excited around them. It would probably be better for me to only be around those who are 8 or older, so I don't accidentally knock them over! I enjoy tennis balls and nyla bones, but when it comes to stuffed animals and rope toys, I love them a little too much and just eat them (whoops!). As you can probably tell, I try to live life to the fullest. I can't wait to get started on my exciting new future with you, so please stop by for a visit soon so we can get my adoption started.

Hi everybody! My name is Firefly, and I'm hoping to light up your life! I was brought to BHS with my 2 siblings and my mom, Lovebug, because we were found by someone who couldn't keep us. All of us were extremely young, so we had to go to a foster home until we were old enough for surgery. My siblings have already been adopted and now I really want to find a great forever home of my own! I love people, and playing with toys. I'm really looking forward to meeting you. Please stop by soon!

The adoption fee for Josie is $75 and $105 for Firefly. Plus get a $5 off Hills Science Diet pet food coupon!
