Hope and Penguin Are the Pets Of The Week

Hope and Penguin are the Pets Of The Week. All February -- adopt a long-term resident in the Bmore Humane Lonely Hearts Club and get half off the adoption fee plus three free training sessions!

This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Hope and Penguin. Here's what they each have to say--

Hello. My name is Hope and I am an 8-year-old Terrier Mix. I was originally adopted from BHS in 2005, but was brought back due to a divorce situation. I can be timid at times if I don’t know you well, but once I get to know you I will give you kisses and run around and play like a nutball:). I enjoy laying on soft comforters or dog beds and playing with stuffed animals or squeaky toys. The very important thing that you need to know about me is that I DO NOT get along with other dogs. Don’t let this keep you from adopting me because otherwise I am an extremely sweet dog who just needs a new forever home. Please visit me soon if you are looking for a senior dog like me.

Hi there. My name is Penguin and I am one-and-a-half years old. I was brought to BHS with two other cats because we were all found abandoned in an apartment complex. I am a cute black and white cat who really just wants a forever home because I don't want to be on the street anymore. I like the following things: food, cat beds, warm blankets and furry toys. If you would like to meet me or the other kitties please visit our shelter soon.

The adoption fee for Hope is $100, and $105 for Penguin. Plus get a free bag of starter food!

There’s still time to enter to win Joe Flacco autographed prizes! Free entry on facebook.com/bmorehumane and at BHS, 1601 Nicodemus Rd, Reisterstown.  Contest ends Monday, February 5th.
