Three Robberies, Three Days in Glen Burnie

Police made juvenile charges against three teens after an attempted robbery in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police responded to three robberies in Glen Burnie between Friday and Sunday.

The first robbery was Friday night and resulted in the arrest of three juveniles.

Shortly before 7:30 p.m., five suspects approached a man delivering a pizza to a residence on the 6400 block of Lincoln Court, and attempted to rob him. One of the suspects assaulted the victim, who then fought off the suspects with a metal pipe.

The suspects fled on foot, and arriving officers located three of the suspects hiding and running in the immediate area. Police charged three suspects–one 13-year-old and two 14-year-olds–as juveniles for robbery, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on Saturday, two men approached the male victim near the 7800 block of Oakwood Rd. and asked for money. As the victim pulled money out of his pocket, one of the suspects began struggling with the man, attempting to take the money.

The suspects threw the victim to the ground and started punching him and took his wallet, according to police.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, three men approached a male victim near the 8000 block of Crain Highway and asked for money. The victim told them he didn't have any money and the suspects began punching him and took money out of his pockets, then fled on foot.

The very reason I moved to severna park, the lower class scum can't afford the housing in the area....YET! When things get bad you just have to move away from the scumbags and move to higher priced neighborhoods were the rats aren't.

Oh, they're commin' to you too Gee. Actually they're already there. Section 8's all around ya. States payin' their way and I guess they need to up their welfare checks since they must rob to pay for their drugs. Time to arm yourselves folks. Police can't help ya. They only show up after the fact to investigate and file a criminal report.

I say if everyone had a gun there would none of this non-sence,,cap a couple of these dirt bags, turn back the tide a bit,, perform a little social cleansing
