Police are asking the public to help identify a man who robbed the Bay Bank, 2600 block of Annapolis Road in Severn, about 3:35 p.m. Friday.
According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the suspect passed a bank teller a note demanding money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the area, riding a small blue bicycle toward the rear of the shopping center. The bicycle was located a short time later, abandoned in the parking lot of the shopping center.
The suspect was described as a black man between the ages of 19 and 24, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black knit hat and carrying a black backpack.
