Police Report 3 Robberies in 3 Days

Two occurred in Brooklyn Park and one in Glen Burnie between Monday and Wednesday, police said.

Brooklyn Park: Robbery

Two male suspects robbed a woman in Brooklyn Park early Wednesday morning, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 200 block of Southerly Road in Brooklyn Park at about 1:40 a.m. Wednesday for a reported robbery.

Officers spoke with the victim, a 48-year-old woman, who said she was walking to her home when a male suspect approached her and asked for a cigarette. The suspect suddenly ripped her purse out of her hands and fled down Alley 29 with a second male suspect, according to police.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.

Brooklyn Park: Robbery

Three men wearing bandanas robbed two teenage boys in Brooklyn Park Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to the 5200 block of Ballman Avenue in Brooklyn Park at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday for a reported robbery, according to a police press release.

Officers spoke with the victims, an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man, who said they were walking in the area when three men approached them and demanded their money and belongings.

One of the men punched one of the victims and threw him to the ground before going though his pockets and taking his cell phone. The other two men punched the second victim and then all three suspects fled the area.

Officers searched the area but were unable to find the men. Both victims declined medical treatment, police said.

Glen Burnie: Robbery

Three male suspects stole money and pizza from a delivery driver at gunpoint in Glen Burnie Monday night, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 200 block of Spring Maiden Court in Glen Burnie at about 10:45 p.m. Monday for a reported robbery.

Officers spoke with the victim, a pizza delivery driver, who said he arrived at his destination and got out of his vehicle to check the address. When he walked back to his vehicle, he said three young male suspects approached him and demanded money.

The suspects took his money and one suspect pulled a handgun while a second stole the pizza container from the vehicle.

All three suspects then ran toward Gordon Court. Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to find the suspects.
