Police Release Photos of Suspect in Beauty Store Robbery

Police say the woman fled in a Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by another woman.

Anne Arundel County police are still searching for a woman who robbed Sally Beauty Supply on Monday, and released photos of the suspect captured on an in-store security camera.

A woman entered the business on Crain Highway at about 1 p.m. Monday and handed the cashier a note announcing a robbery, according to a police press release. The note reportedly indicated that the woman was armed, but no weapons were displayed.

Police described the woman as white, in her 20s with a thin build, wearing big dark sunglasses, a hooded jacket over a gray sweatshirt with a hood and jeans.

The suspect was observed getting into the passenger seat of a dark blue Chevrolet Cavalier that was driven by a white female. The photograph of the car shows the suspect's vehicle after it left the business.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Clifford Van Hoesen of the Robbery Unit at 410-222-3469 (3566) or you may contact Metro Crime Stoppers at 866-7LOCKUP or text “MCS" plus your message to CRIMES (274637). Phone calls are not recorded and callers remain anonymous.
