Feb. 27
Glen Burnie: Armed robbery

Two men allegedly robbed the Tobacco Store in Glen Burnie on Monday afternoon, according to a police press release.

Two men robbed a man as he walked on a dirt patch near Hospital Drive on Monday afternoon, police said.

Feb. 24
Hanover: Assault, reckless endangerment arrest

Anne Arundel County police said a Glen Burnie man drove through traffic lights and nearly hit a marked squad car after refusing to obey an order to stop near Arundel Mills.

Police identified the driver as Nicholas Ryan Collins, 21, of the 100 block of Foxtree Drive in Glen Burnie. They charged him with first-degree assault, reckless endangerment and traffic violations.


Glen Burnie: Robbery

A man allegedly robbed a woman in the parking lot of a Glen Burnie Wal-Mart on Friday night, police said.


Feb. 22
Glen Burnie: Armed robbery arrest

Police arrested a Glen Burnie teen Wednesday night in connection with the armed robbery of a woman.

Lamell Michael Crews, 19, of the 400 block of Secluded Post Circle, was charged with armed robbery, theft and first-degree assault, according to online court records.

Glen Burnie: Accident

Emergency workers pulled a 56-year-old woman from a car that had rolled over on Maryland Route 100 eastbound at Crain Highway on Wednesday night. The woman was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with serious but not life-threatening injuries, according to fire spokesman Lt. Cliff Kooser.

Brooklyn Park: Drug arrests

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men on drug charges Tuesday after police said they threw drugs out of their window during an attempted traffic stop in Brooklyn Park.

Damien Romon Kane, 22, of the 900 block of Patapsco Avenue in Baltimore and Michael Leroy Harvin, 30, of the 600 block of Glynlee Court in Reisterstown were charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.

Linthicum: Drug arrest

Police arrested a Curtis Bay man Monday night on drug charges when they stopped his car in Linthicum.

Bryan David Howard, 29, of the 900 block of Chestnut Manor Court in Curtis Bay was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession of cocaine.

Feb. 18
Milford Mill: Kidnapping arrest

A 34-year-old Glen Burnie man faces kidnapping, robbery and other charges in connection with a Feb. 18 incident in Milford Mill, police said.

Baltimore County police arrested Shannona Lavell Yearby, 34, of the 100 block of North Meadow Drive and charged him with kidnapping, first- and second-degree assault and theft, as he allegedly took his ex-girlfriend's cell phone, according to a police report.
