Police, Fire Incidents: Glen Burnie, Brooklyn Park

A wreck involving a head-on collision with a bus in Glen Burnie killed an Odenton man and sent a 14-year-old boy and eight others to the hospital.


Police said two people from Odenton were arrested at a Brooklyn Park hotel after detectives purchased heroin during a narcotics investigation.


A woman told police she was approached from behind by a man who demanded she turn over her purse and belongings in Glen Burnie.


After a Glen Burnie man ran from a suspect who allegedly tried to rob him, he told police that a vehicle ran over his toe.

A Severna Park man allegedly took money from the woman with whom he was riding in a car in Glen Burnie.


The investigation is still active and police are searching for two suspects in connection to the incident that occurred in the 200 block of 5th Avenue SW.


A clerk at a 7-Eleven in Glen Burnie told police that a man entered the store and announced a robbery.


A search warrant was executed at a Glen Burnie home after police said they received numerous complaints of suspected drug activity.


The fire department determined there was no threat. Students at Brooklyn Park Elementary School were forced to stay inside for about an hour.


Two men reportedly assaulted a man and took his wallet in the community of The Villages at Marley Station in Glen Burnie.


A woman told police that a man approached her as she was walking to her car, displayed a gun and tried to steal her car in Glen Burnie.
