Anne Arundel County fire investigators are looking into the cause of a Linthicum vehicle and garage fire that occurred Tuesday morning.
Linthicum: BWI evacuation
A portion of BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport was evacuated Monday morning after an unusual odor and irritant—suspected to be pepper spray—was discovered in the air at the Concourse B security checkpoint, airport officials said.
Glen Burnie: School bus accident
Medics transported a person in the vehicle that rear-ended a school bus in Ferndale on Friday morning to the hospital with minor injuries, school and fire officials said.
One student from was on the school bus, but no one on the bus was injured.
Hanover: Credit card theft arrests
Anne Arundel County police said they arrested three men, including one from Glen Burnie, Friday after a report of a stolen credit card tipped them off to a theft in progress in Hanover.
Glen Burnie: Fatal accident
A 42-year-old Glen Burnie man died early Thursday morning after the truck he was driving ran into trees along Maryland Route 10, police said.
Anne Arundel County fire officials pronounced Rafet Gerigiden, of the unit block of Marley Neck Boulevard, dead on the scene.
Glen Burnie: Drug arrests
Police arrested a Glen Burnie man and a Baltimore woman on drug charges Wednesday afternoon in Glen Burnie.
Alfredo Calizaya, 45, of the 1200 block of Kimberly Lane was charged with four counts of possession with intent to distribute drugs and seven counts of possession of drugs. Lula May Lowe, 53, of the 1500 block of Medford Road in Baltimore was charged with two counts of distribution of drugs, two counts of possession with intent to distribute drugs and two counts of possession of drugs.
Glen Burnie: Attempted robbery
A man was shot with a BB gun during an attempted robbery on the night of May 8 in Glen Burnie.
Linthicum: Prostitution arrests
Anne Arundel County police arrested two women on prostitution charges Tuesday in Linthicum.
Queen-Shykylia Marie Samuel, 20, of the 16000 block of Sandario Drive in Houston and Fiona Danae Simms of no fixed address were charged with prostitution, assignation and occupying a house of prostitution.
