Police: 2 Teens Take Man's Cell Phone

The incident occurred in Glen Burnie and police were unable to locate the suspects.

A man told police that his cell phone was taken by two male suspects, who appeared to be in their late teens, on Monday just before 6 p.m.

According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from northern district responded to the 6500 block of Home Water Way in Glen Burnie for a reported robbery. The man told officers that one of the suspects approached and asked if he could use his cell phone.

"The victim was in the process of handing over his cell phone when the second suspect pushed him and the first suspect snatched the phone from his hand," according to a press release from police.

The suspects reportedly ran towards Cromwell Fountain and police were unable to locate them.

I think I saw one of the kids, but I can't really recall what they looked like, other than white male, darker hair, wearing a dark hoodie and shorts I believe. He walked over towards another person, who I couldn't really see because of the setting sun shining from that direction. He kind of looked like he was up to no good too, come to think of it. I live there and was talking to my kid outside right before this happened. I will be more observant from now on.
