Man Allegedly Snatched Woman's Purse in Giant Parking Lot

Police said the incident occurred at the store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.

A man robbed a woman as she walked in the parking lot of a Glen Burnie Giant Tuesday night, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the store in the 7900 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie for a reported robbery. Officers spoke with a 26-year-old woman who said she was walking to her vehicle when she was approached by a man.

As she attempted to get into her vehicle, the victim said the man assaulted her and reached for her purse. She said she struggled with the man over her purse, but that he was eventually able to take it from her before running north parallel to Crain Highway.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to find the man. The woman suffered minor injuries, but did not require medical treatment, police said.

That's a good question. I honestly have no idea how that happened. Thanks for letting me know. I'll remove that now.

What do you mean allegedly? Her purse is gone right? He took it from her. Not allegedly, he snatched and TOOK her purse.

Is it a proven fact that her purse was stolen? If not, allegedly is a correct term.
