Man Found Suffering From Cuts, Blood Loss

A 50-year-old man was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma in non-life threatening condition Tuesday afternoon.

Medics transported a 50-year-old man to the hospital suffering from several cuts to his body, according to fire officials.

Anne Arundel County police and fire officials responded to the 800 block of East Seagrove Road in Glen Burnie at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday for a reported medical incident, according to fire spokesman Lt. Steve Thompson.

The man was suffering from several cuts to his body and lost a lot of blood, Thompson said.

At one point the SWAT team was called to the scene, but the reasoning was unclear, police spokesman Lt. Frank Tewey said.

"I don't know why the SWAT team ended up out there," he said.

The man was transported to Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore with non-life threatening injuries, Thompson said.
