This area is very bad, we need constant police presence and Anne Arundel County really needs to make this a priority. The shopping center and the neighborhood behind it suffers terribly because there are not officers assigned continuously in the Sun Valley area. But yet the same county keeps approving low income housing in the same area without taking into consideration the families that will suffer because of their stupidity. If the government insists (even though the residents fought desperately to keep them out of their community) on putting these in, then they certainly should be smart enough to up the police presence in the area.

I don't feel safe in that shopping center even in the daytime; I've been approached by people asking for money more than a couple of times now. I've never seen any kind of security driving thru the parking lot, so you're more or less on your own, which I'm sure the criminals are also aware of. The police need to step up patrol there & run the criminal element out.
