Crews Battle Garage Fire Early Tuesday

Firefighters fought a blaze on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard for 20 minutes early Tuesday.

Investigators are looking into a garage fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to Division Chief Keith Swindle, of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

At 1:30 a.m., crews responded to the 7500 block of Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard for a fire in a two-story detached garage fire. Twenty-six firefighters got the fire under control in 20 minutes.

One firefighters suffered an eye injury and was treated on the scene. Fire investigators have no estimate of damage at this time, according to Swindle.
