Drug Search Results in 4 Arrests

At two homes in the Point Pleasant area, police seized more than $5,000 worth of drugs.

Police arrested four men on drug-related charges after searching two homes in the Point Pleasant area on Tuesday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County police said the search took place in the 1000 block of 1st Street at about 2 p.m. Tuesday and detectives seized marijuana, marijuana plants, hashish, paraphernalia and a Chevrolet Impala car.

Patrick Cory Rhodes, 18, of the 7800 block of Leymar Road in Glen Burnie; Chase Douglas Hynson, 23, of the 1000 block of 1st Street in Glen Burnie; Jacob Ryan Qualls, 23, 7600 Marcy Dr. in Glen Burnie; and Anthony William Kozak, 33, of the 1000 block of 1st Street were each charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. In addition, police charged Qualls with possession of and intent to distribute hashish.

The drugs had a street value of about $5,800, police said.
