'Showtime for Oscar' at GBHS, Caring Hearts Skate Night and Magician Garry Carson

This week's Grab & Go Kids Planner includes a free family craft event, magician Garry Carson and Showtime for Oscar at Glen Burnie High.

Where/when: The play is March 24-26 in the auditorium at 7 p.m. The play by Ray Sheers is based loosely on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

Pricing: Tickets are $5 and available at the door. The show is open to all and should guarantee your family a good time at a very reasonable price.

2. MAGICIAN GARRY CARSON

Where/when: March 26 at 7 p.m. at . Doors open for seating at 6:30 p.m. Go to enjoy Carson Entertainment's "Art of Imagination" magic show with the whole family. Magician Garry Carson combines comedy, magic, illusions and exotic animals in his show. 3. THE KING AND I

Where/when: March 25 at 7 p.m. and March 26 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Monsignor Slade Catholic School. There are a limited number of tickets still available, so you must act fast! For further details please contact the school at 410-766-7130.

4. CARING HEARTS SKATE NIGHT

Where/when: March 26 at , 1200 Odenton Rd. in Odenton, from 5:45-7:45 pm. This fundraiser benefits the American Cancer Society and is open to all Relay for Life teams with $4 of each admission sold will go to ACS. For more details, contact Rolinda at 443-996-3273.

Pricing: $10 admission which includes quad skate rental. Inline skates can be rented for an additional $2.

5. MICHAELS FREE FAMILY CRAFT EVENT

Where/when: March 27 at Michaels, 16 Mountain Rd., from 1-3 p.m. The free family event, "Design your own Bottle Cap Creations," is a Make it Take it event for ages 3 and up.
