Each year a Tribute to Women of Color hosts this important event to award scholarships to bright young women and men who are high academic achievers, and to honor unsung heroines in the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County community.  The program will include a luncheon, souvenir booklet, entertainment, and awards ceremony.  The ATWOC ask for your support through the purchase of tickets and attending the event.

Future Leader awards are presented to young women and young men who demonstrate potential for future leadership.  Last year, 32 young women and men received college/university and cash scholarships valued at more than $300,000.

Good Samaritan, Service to Youth, and Pathfinder awards are presented to women who enhance the quality of life in the community.  Their volunteer services, their work with young people in the community, church or school, and their contributions and leadership to bring about positive social change.

This year our co-sponsors are the YWCA of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Anne Arundel.
