Continuous Updates All Weekend from Patch

A new feature on the sites will allow you to keep in touch with what is happening in your community and around the region.

Starting Saturday morning, Patch will activate a new feature on sites in the region to allow for continuous updates on the status of Hurricane Irene and its impact on our communities.

Members of the Patch team will be out reporting all weekend but this new feature will make it easy for our readers to contribute. Want to know which stores still have water or sandbags? If we don't have that information already on the site, you can ask the question or answer it for your neighbor.

This will be an interactive feature where you can share your photos, comments and more with others in your community. It's the next best thing to everyone huddling together to weather the storm.

Very large boom, like tree falling on a house, somewhere in the vicinity of Old County Road in Olde Severna Park Community around 8 pm. Hope everyone okay. Please check outside house windows if you're in that area and report back.
