Tanyard Springs HOA in Glen Burnie participated in its first ever National Night Out (NNO). More than 200 homeowners, families and children came out to support the community and to promote crime prevention.
Joining the event was the Glen Burnie Fire Department. Tanyard Springs residents not only learned about emergency response procedures but got the chance to meet their local firemen and first responders.
Associa’s Community Management Corporation, an NNO national sponsor, handed out several Associa Supports Kids giveaways, including child identification kits, safety coloring books and rub-on tattoos. They also brought Scout, the Associa Supports Kids mascot, who posed for pictures with children and families.
For 30 years, NNO has brought together homeowners and communities to create safer neighborhoods. It is a unique crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW) and focused on working with citizens, law enforcement, businesses, neighborhood organizations and local officials to make an impact in communities and cities.
Associa, North America’s largest community management services firm, delivers unsurpassed management and lifestyle services to its communities. As a national sponsor for NNO, the company goes beyond managing associations to truly build emotional equity among homeowners.
