On Tuesday, September 11th, Glen Burnie-based restaurant Mission BBQ will honor this National Day of Service and Remembrance by offering a complimentary sandwich to all local emergency and first responders.
There will be commemorative memorabilia available for purchase at the event including t-shirts, hats and limited edition 9/11 Never Forget cups. One-hundred percent of the proceeds from these items will be donated to the Anne Arundel County Fraternal Order of Police and the Anne Arundel County Firefighters Union.
This is sure to be an inspiring event presenting a rare interview/photo opportunity for local media and area residents interested in commemorating September 11th. There will be a number of fire fighters and police officers present to recognize their fellow service members.
