When Glen Burnie began play in its baseball game at neighborhood North County back on April 16, things did not look good for the home team. The Knights swiftly fell behind by four runs as the Gophers hammered away at their sophomore pitcher, Koby Overstreet, during a game that was suspended by a sudden deluge of rain. Gophers head coach Aaron Courtney said earlier this season that offensive players Tyler Napora, a junior, and senior Josh Mercurio, plus defensive players senior Andrew Spadaro, junior Brandon Eduvigen and senior goalie Chris Ford, will bring experience and leadership to the team.
