Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man in connection with a shooting on Jan. 28 on South Hampton Drive.
The shooting occurred last week when a suspect approached a male victim as he was inside of his vehicle, on the 7800 block of South Hampton Drive, and attempted to rob the man. The victim pulled away but the suspect fired a round into the vehicle.
The victim was able to drive to Baltimore Washington Medical Center, and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police said detectives positively identified the suspect through investigation and arrested Tywon Harris, 23, of Glen Burnie. Police charged Harris with attempted first- and second-degree murder, attempted robbery and other related offenses.
